Good News!

Good news everyone!  Our pilot session of Brave New Worlds has been edited down to two episodes.  For those who don't already know, Brave New Worlds is the actual play podcast that my friends and I have started to share with all of you.  There is a main campaign to go along with this podcast, bearing the same name, and coming in about a month.  Until then we have some one shots for you to enjoy.  Th first was a session (the first we have played) of Kobolds Ate My Baby!  We plan on playing this again, but we are also playing Gamma World 4E tomorrow to record some episodes as well.

All in all the recording came out pretty good.  There are some things we will be tweaking moving onto tomorrow of course.  Making sure there are no dishwashers going to edit out, making sure my voice fully reaches the mic, making sure snacks are of the none crunchy variety.  Obvious things that we kind of missed on our first go.  Edits should become easier and smoother as we go as well.  But, that is why we did the pilot session, that is why we're doing some more before the regular campaign.  Of course, I want this to be a regular thing.  I want one shots and arcs of games we don't get to play enough, haven't played at all, or are brand new.  Brave New Worlds will be a meaningful title for the podcast and the campaign.

After reading all this you must be wondering when and how?  Well, when is Fridays.  Beginning this Friday and (hopefully) every Friday evening I will have a new episode of Brave New Worlds for you to enjoy.  My goal is to vary them from 40-80 minutes or so depending on session pacing and what it edits down to.  KAMB will feature two episodes at approximately 45 minutes each.  Where can you find these?  Right now they will be on SoundCloud and embedded here.  I will also be getting the RSS feed on iTunes as woon as possible.  Other suggestions for where to put it would be appreciated and, of course, we ask that if you enjoy it, share it with a friend.
